An interaction between analogue photography and ceramics. Processes within each become tools through which I investigate the other, leading me to make and refine a series of ceramic pinhole cameras.
I play with the physical and chemical science of processes which are seemingly magical. As light is transformed into the weight of metal, and the heat of the kiln turns earth to stone, a physical, energy-induced, transformation of state occurs.
