Responding to environmental change and questioning the distance created by traditional landscape painting, this project explores how materials can participate in the making of an artwork. Using fibres derived from wilding pines alongside weather, gravity, and time, the resulting installation develops an expanded painting practice that engages directly with land through processes of transformation, accumulation, and exchange.
