Industrial Design
Designed for women who have undergone a unilateral mastectomy, Una explores how supportive garments can better accommodate asymmetry, comfort, and movement during physical activity. Guided by empathetic design and an iterative research-through-design approach, the project combines textile and 3D printing technologies to create targeted support structures. The final design demonstrates the potential for more inclusive activewear that fosters confidence, wellbeing, and long-term participation in exercise after breast cancer treatment.
